FAQs

Is this a coating on my floor?

This product is not a coating that can wear off. It imprints a tread pattern on the tiles that is so microscopically small it is not visible to the naked eye.

I have not had anyone slip and fall on my property, so why do I need your services?

That is great! Our services will ensure that it stays that way. Most people are under the illusion that dry tile is sufficient to prevent future accidents, but that is false security. All it takes is one liquid spill when someone is not anticipating it and they slip on it and they are injured on the floor. At that point it’s too late. Act before it gets to that point, and that is where we can assist you.

Do you guarantee that we will never have another slip and fall incident?

No, we don’t! No one can provide that sort of guarantee with 100% certainty. Our application will increase the traction on your floor to satisfy the Dynamic Coefficient of Friction standard at 0.6 as outlined by the ADA and OSHA published safety guidelines.

Is this service available for residential applications?

Absolutely! It works on both commercial and residential spaces. Bathtubs, showers, kitchen and bathroom floors are all susceptible to becoming slippery when wet. We have a solution for those situations. We would be glad to come out and assess the situation, give a quote and perform the service in a professional, cost-effective and timely manner!

Is this service expensive?

Not at all! We take into account the application, floor area, completion time and product needed. You have to remember that this application will reduce the likelihood of any future potential catastrophic slip and fall injury. Injuries as a result of a slip and fall accident are way more costly than our service. Most individuals are extremely satisfied with the services because they don’t want to experience the alternative.

How do we know if our floors are unsafely slippery when they are wet?

That’s a good question. You won’t know for sure unless someone can perform a Dynamic Coefficient of Friction test and that is where we come in. All you need to do is click on the “Contact Us” button and fill out the form and one of our Certified Professionals will contact you to set an appointment to test your floors.

Can I test the floors myself?

Yes, you could if you had the proper training, tools and equipment. Most people do not have any of the above; therefore, they request a company to come in who has the ability to perform the test properly and safely, and install the application to achieve the desired slip-resistance.

How long does actual treatment take to complete?

General rule of thumb, 100 sqm will be cleaned and treated by 2 applicators for 1.5 to 2 hours max. We will do the treatment on commercial areas during slow hours so there will be no down time for business.

How long do I need to wait before I can walk on my floors?

The treated areas can be walked on as soon as the job has been completed. There is no curing period or drying time. They are ready for immediate use!

Will there be reaction to the skin?

No, because there is no chemical remaining on the bathtub. This is not a coating or a sealer. Once the chemical has been applied, it is neutralized and rinsed down the drain. What remains is a quality Non-Slip surface.

Do I have to use special cleaners on the floors and bathtubs?

No, whatever cleaning materials you use before your Non-Slip treatment, continue to use afterwards. However, harsh abrasives such as scouring pads or steel brushes should never be used, even on untreated tubs.

As for restaurants, they should use a degreaser each time they clean the floor because grease will build up over time causing the floor to be slippery. Essentially, if the restaurant does not use a degreaser, in just a short period of time there will be a build-up of grease on the floor and you will be walking on the layers of grease rather than the treated floor.

Will there be any change in the appearance of the floor?

On a very high gloss ceramic tile or marble floor you will notice a very slight loss of gloss. Mostly there will be no change in overall appearance and quality otherwise.

Do I really need this service?

Yes, you do! Give us a call so we can show you the difference our service can make. We want your place to be safe for family, friends, staff and clients alike. You focus on what you do best and let us focus on what we do best! Give us a call or fill out the form on the website.

What is the cost of having our floors tested?

For a typical floor DCOF testing, the cost is P 15,000. This cost will be deducted from your total invoice should you retain our services to treat your floors with a corresponding minimum business requirement.
