IDENTIFICATION

Discuss known issues with owner/management team. Conduct a walkthrough to determine and validate, through visualization and/or surface testing, potential slip and fall hazards and risks. Any surface can be a potential slip and fall hazard.

TESTING

Utilizing the BOT 3000E, we test identified areas to determine the Dynamic Coefficient of Friction (DCOF). Guidelines recommended for DCOF are 0.50 and higher to be considered safe. A typical floor falls between 0.20 – 0.40.

TREATMENT

We increase the traction by producing a “micro-tread” on your slippery surface. Problem areas are treated using a proprietary three-step process, which results in an increased DCOF of 0.60 or more. The treatment is simple and does not require heavy or special equipment.

FOLLOW UP

We will schedule follow-up visits in six months* to one year intervals to re-test treated areas to ensure proper traction remains.
